Week 3 The Continuation

As I sit here trying to figure out what to say I guess it is just best to share what is on or as others might say what’s in my mind.  I have always been a very private person and not because I don’t have much to say but because I don’t want to expose or reveal myself to too many people.

With that opening being said here goes!  I feel like now the journey that I am on is Empowering for me and inspiring  to those that read this blog.  I am 59 years young and looking forward to many more years.  Keeping the present sense of mind knowing that nothing is promised from this moment going forward.

I use to think that living an autonomous life would be easy because I would not have to answer to anyone but now I understand that answering to yourself and the Higher Power is even more challenging.  Why, you might ask, because I am 100% accountable and responsible for the choices I make.  We often accuse others of having that role in our lives because we don’t like the results we have to display.  Understanding that, giving someone too much control over my life has truly empowered me to take it back.

The freedom of autonomy  does not mean, because of one’s desire for independence there is no need for interaction!  In order for me to get what I desire from life I must help many, many people get what they need, thus the required interaction with others.  Here is the important part, not for my benefit but for theirs!!!

Respectfully,

Archie Hudson, Jr

  1. Wow, Archie, thank you for your honest sharing. It is very powerful! I especially love how you described “Autonomy” and then you tied that right in with helping others. “In order for me to get what I desire from life I must help many, many people get what they need, thus the required interaction with others. Here is the important part, not for my benefit but for theirs!!! What a profound statement!
